You know, I have no idea why the press makes such a big deal about whether a player "starts" or not.

With Coach Cal it has always been about the minutes. Look at what Rodney Carney did coming in off the bench.

Dan Wolken's article today repeats the claim. Hunt should be a starter.

Fortunately, Jeremy has his head on straight and he is quoted:

"Coming off the bench is good too because I want to just do what I do, and I can do that starting or coming off the bench. It doesn't matter," Hunt said. "(Anderson) had three fouls, so it was just a one-time thing. It was good."

Why doesn't the press get it?

George,

I agree with you. I think Cal likes to have consistency and therefore is staying with the same line up. I was at the game and noticed Anderson didn't start the second half. I wondered if he was injured because Cal almost never upsets the starting line up except for injuries.

Anderson had a pretty solid game overall. Sure he didn't produce a lot of points, but 8 assists from the 2 position is very impressive.

Remember, the media has to find something to write about even if it is pretty lame.
