Does Memphis not get the respect it deserves? Maybe. I seriously doubt leaving North Carolina or Kansas off of their field of 65 would have made it though the editor's staff, but leaving Memphis off the list did.
In some ways this is a function of the fan base. The Tiger Nation must demand to be recognized. It must grow and the fan base must be LOUD!!!!!!!!
I imagine if this had happened to Kansas, Luke Winn's computer would have shut down with email overload - so there is your goal Tiger fans.
