--San Antonio Region--

1. Ohio State Buckeyes (30-3)

The Buckeyes have been one of the top teams all season and for a huge reason. His name is (future #1 NBA draft pick) Greg Oden. He leads a talented group of freshmen along with sensational freshman point guard Mike Conley Jr. The Buckeyes should have an easy road to the Elite 8 where a potential match-up with Texas A&M or Memphis awaits. However, the way the Buckeyes rolled through the Big 10 Conference Tournament, a trip to the Final Four is well within reach for this team.

2. Memphis Tigers (30-3)

Memphis as a team is as talented as the Buckeyes and could easily make a Final Four run if their shooters get hot. They have outstanding guard play and defend well. Memphis breezed through Conference USA and won the league by five games over the second place team with a perfect 16-0 conference record. That could be good or bad as the Tigers are not tournament tested from playing in a weak league. Coach Cal will have this team fired up for the first two rounds. But a Sweet 16 match-up with Texas A&M could send them home earlier than they expect.

3. Texas A&M Aggies (25-6)

The Aggies have arguably the best clutch shooter in the game in G Acie Law IV. They play tough, hard-nosed and physical, in your face defense. With Law at the point running the show and big man Joseph Jones down low, this will be a hard team to beat. They very well could be the best of the three seeds in the tournament. After an early exit from the Big 12 tournament they will be out to prove they should have been seeded higher. Expect a tough game with Memphis in the Sweet 16 then look for A&M to possibly pull the upset in knocking off #1 Ohio State for the right for a trip to the Final Four.

4. Virginia Cavaliers (20-10)

As the two outstanding guards for Virginia go, so does the team. J.R. Reynolds and Sean Singletary could be considered one of the best guard tandems in the country. They both can score, rebound, and deliver the rock. This team had a chance to win the ACC toward the end of the regular season but had to settle for a tie with North Carolina. Look for a tough second round game against Tennessee and an even tougher game against Ohio State in the Sweet 16. Can they pull off the upset?
