Memphis #9 in RPI, #10 in Pomeroy

Memphis made an impressive move in the RPI Index on Saturday after defeating Southern Mississippi on the road. The Tigers are now in the Top 10 in the RPI. In Ken Pomeroy's rankings, the Tigers are #10 overall, #14 in total defense and #21 in total offense. The Tigers have had three good offensive performances in a row (Cincy, Houston and Sou. Miss) and have moved from #64 in offense to #21 since January 3rd.
