The Tigers will participate in the 2006 Maui Classic to be held November 20, 21 and 22. Other teams joining Memphis will be DePaul ('05/'06 RPI #91, Big East Conference), Georgia Tech (#160, ACC, see incoming freshman Memphian Thaddeus Young), Kentucky (#41, SEC), Oklahoma (#16, Big 12), Purdue (#174, Big 10), UCLA (#9, Pac 10, National Runner-Up) and Chaminade.
