Talent show: Rotnei Clarke, the state's No. 1 basketball recruit, and the Verdigris Cardinals are involved in this weekend's University of Tulsa team camp at the Reynolds Center.
Verdigris plays twice on Friday (against Rogers at 6 p.m. and Jenks at 8) and twice on Saturday (against Tahlequah at 10 a.m. and Bishop Kelley at noon). The games are free and open to the public.
Two more offers: Conley Clarke, Rotnei's father and the director of basketball operations at Oral Roberts, reports that Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie offered a scholarship to Rotnei Clarke this week. A few days earlier, Memphis' John Calipari called with a scholarship offer.
